Yeah, yep, it's here...THE LAST DAY OF FALL SEMESTER!!! Two weeks of little to no sleep. Many skipped meals, improvised stuff...yeah...stuff - so, ehhhhh, I'm just brain dead right now. So many things have gone into this head and out, I just wanna kick back and celebrate. One thing comes to mind!
The best and only way to celebrate. I'ma go out, chill with my friends, eat, and catch a movie. Oh, and lots of cruising, maybe a road trip. I still haven't stopped by Christmas in the Park of San Jose yet. Oh, and I'm primed for an upgrade of my tv > HDTV!!! Hells Yeah!!!

The Rated-R Comedy Pt. III
This is the last part of my Rated-R Comedy rant. The truth is, some may have the idea that if a comedy is rated-r, it's raunchy and only serves to get cheap laughs. Cheap laughs meaning foul language or obscene scenes are only inserted to get a giggle, chuckle or laugh-out-loud reaction without really contributing to the story. This may be true in certain lackluster flicks like The Brothers Solomon but there are far many more great movies like Baby Mama that utilizes that Rated R title with very much purpose. The cast to these movies have considerably become star-filled. As with Robert Downey Jr's role in Tropic Thunder in which one of the best lines ever is given:
The Rated-R Comedy Pt. II
What movies are exactly bringing this genre of the Rated-R Comedy back to life?
-Forgetting Sarah Marshall
-Role Models
-Zack and Miri Make a Porno
-The 40 Year Old Virgin
-Knocked Up
-Pineapple Express
-Tropic Thunder
All these movies are funny as f@ck! They go that extra step without having to worry about offending someone. If they do offend...well, they wouldn't be that funny. It's great to see such witty writing, gross visuals, and outlandish soundtracks.

The Rated-R Comedy Pt. I
After a long day at school and a stressful test, I had to get a good laugh. What better than YouTube!? The only thing I could think of was watching comedy bits/clips. I like Katt Williams, David Allan Grier, Wayans Brothers, Dat Phan, Will Ferrell, and all of the posse in the new rated R comedies that have coming out. That's a relief, the comeback of the rated-r comedy. I was getting tired of the whole 90's comedy where everything was toned done to pg-13 stuff. The reason? - I don't know, maybe to make more money by letting sub 18 year old come watch. During that time, I experienced 80's comedy through the DVD. College, Porky's, and Nerds to name a few - all went the extra ummphhh. Near the end of 90's, American Pie and the Scary Movie series brought life back into the Rated-R comedy! Here's a preview of a movie I watched not too long ago that falls into the category:

Some More Finals Distraction
Wow, I just saw this clip on Mad TV this past weekend. By far one of my favorite characters. Reminds me of somebody...
The Last Week
Focusing on finals has keep me away from things. Once in awhile, I just gotta take a break. Right now I'm in the process of getting another car. I've been looking into roadsters, fast cars, beastly, menacing and just plain fun. A list of cars:
-Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4
-Mazda RX-7
-Mazda RX-8
-Honda Prelude (5th generation, 97-01)
-Honda S2000
Yes, yes, these are quick but for the amount of time one spends in the car, it only makes sense to drive something fun! But I think I've narrowed it down to two, watch:

Another 3 Weeks!!!
After a 1 week break, I'm back! It's been busy and stressful. A lot of things are happening but to cheer me up, I've been following some of the funny political things out here. The following video is the erection of SNL comic legend, Will Ferrell. It tackles the highly controversial Prop 8 - watch and enjoy:

Near the End of the Fall '08 Semester
It's nearing the end of the Fall 2008 semester. Crunch time, all-nighters, projects, and the finishing touches on what has been an outrageously fun and packed semester. Reports are due, I gotta be thinking about next semester and possibly graduation (unless my attempt into the Graphic Design BFA program falls through).
Top 10 Things I gotta do before the end of the semester:
10. Be there, attentive, eyes open - listening
9. Gather my contacts, met lots of cool people, myspace'd 'n facebooked' 'em!
8. Make-up any work, look for extra-credit opportunities to give the grade that lil' cushion
7. Talk to adviser many times to get next semester started
6. Register for classes - some of those classes fill up quick!
5. Major form must be turned in cuz it is very possible that the BFA isn't there for me so
graduation can be Spring 2009
4. Don't neglect family 'n friends for the holidays - always room for turkey and Christmas In
The Park
3. Finish, finish, finish - gotta finish my work with utmost quality, I take pride in my work
2. Don't Procrasinate, got a habit sometimes - gotta stay motivated
1. Enjoy it cuz College is a huge chunk of my life!
Good Luck everyone!!!

The Final n' 3rd Debate
Obama vs. McCain!!!
http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/09/27/debate.wrap/
Very interesting debate. Not quite a done deal and they kept referring to "Joe the Plumber" as the common worker. Taxes, education, and the energy crisis was discussed. Watch some clips at CNN and YouTube.
